Never know what I'm going to find

I just came downstairs and asked Jonah what he was up to.   His face scrunched up a little, he set the broom he was using to clean something up from the kitchen floor and said with a tone of frustration, "I'm trying to make a rice sock and it's not working."  Hmmm.  Knowing we don't have any rice in the pantry, I was a little curious so I asked, "where is it?  maybe I can help you."  He sighs, and dumps the contents out of one of Doug's gross athletic socks....

the cheese from a box of kraft mac & cheese, a handful of gumballs and some almonds.

Rice sock anyone?

December in all it's glory!

December was a really FUN month!  We had lots of activities that kept the spirit of Christmas close the whole month!  Per usual, I'll take us on a visual trip down memory lane .....  I can't seem to upload some of my favorite pictures from Christmas morning and a few other things but this should at least get us started.

December started with the arrival of our friendly mouse, Jingles.  Santa sent him from the North Pole to be with Jonah and Hannah.  He was a fun little guy who brought treats from time to time as well as reported back to santa each night how well behaved the kids were each night.  oh, the magic of Christmas.

A little note from Mr. Jinglesr
