It was a busy and wonderful Christmas this year. We've settled into our new home and couldn't be happier to be here. Here are some photos from Christmas. I wish I could have slowed down time b/c I sure enjoyed having a house full of friends and family!
Happy New Year!

Revision
Dress Rehearsal
After I put my babies to bed this evening I got cracking on trying to create a mickey mouse birthday cake for my Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fan's 2nd birthday. I was very methodical in my approach, notice I even made a sketch

When Daddy's away, the children will play
Hannah, Jonah, Bella and I went to Mimi and Papa's while Doug was in DC. I think all parties had more fun there than we would have had at home that week, especially Jonah. He loves to ride in "mimi's truck," go swimming with papa, and just be outside from morning to night. Thank you Mimi and Papa for entertaining us and loving us!

The Franklin County Fair
lunch break for dougie poo
a good rainy day activity
After Jonah and Hadley's last day at Curiosity Camp, Amanda suggested we head to the Franklin Park Conservatory to avoid being indoors all afternoon since the rain wasn't letting up. Everyone enjoyed our visit and Jonah got to bring home his first catepillar. We're watching him turn into a butterfly. It's nearly impossible to explain why we're watching a worm in a container to a two year old. I keep saying, "he's a catepillar now, but very soon he'll turn into a beautiful butterfly...it's magic"... I clearly need to brush up on my explanations b/c one of these days he's going to call me on the "it's magic" line.
Jonah's new love...Chautauqua
We headed to Grandma and Papa T's house in Chautauqua a few weekends ago and boy did Jonah have a ball! He got to drive Papa's boat, learn how to fish, watch the prop planes take off and land, go out to a fancy anniversary dinner, play in the kayaks, play on the beach in the institute, miss naps and more! Hannah went on two boat rides which lulled her right to sleep...maybe that's why she didn't sleep at night ;-) We're looking forward to going back next weekend to see Missy, Scott, Ana and Ella!
