A very Merry Christmas....

Christmas was a success! We had the Szporns and Mimi and Papa here for Christmas, then Jonah and Hannah were baptised at New Hope Church the Sunday after Christmas and then we celebrated with the entire Trueman clan the day after that at Jay and Amanda's house. Good health, good spirits, lots of good food and great gifts for everyone. We have certainly been blessed this year and look forward to what the new year has in store!

Jonah's First Christmas Musical

"you never know what to expect during a preschool performance...." said the director of the preschool and boy was she right!

Jonah had been practicing the words to Jingle Bells and Go Tell it on the Mountain for the past few weeks and was getting really great at singing these new songs. Then, as we drove him to school that morning he informed me that he wasn't going to be singing today because the performance was on Friday.

He was right about one thing, he wasn't going to be singing! He stood in the front of the church with his arm covering his face the whole time. Poor little guy made himself invisible. At least we got a private, family performance that evening with bells and all! I sure love that boy!

all dressed up for the performance!

hmmm...has anyone seen jonah?

there he is, making himself invisible....

let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

we enjoyed our first snow day last weekend by building a fire, making candy houses out of anything and everything in the pantry, playing in the snow and cleaning the basement, watching some christmas movies and
