Hannah Jane turns 2

We celebrated Hannah Jane's 2nd birthday a few weeks ago.  She requested a "futterfly" cake so Doug and I created one enormous butterfly carrot cake especially for her!  Her second birthday set many things in motion....she moved into a big girl bed, her rotten mother threw away all of her "night-nights" (pacifiers) and she started telling us "pee pee's coming" and has been wearing big girl undies and using the big girl potty for almost a week.  Whoo HOO!  it's good to be TWO!

Sunday afternoon

Last Sunday we started sowing our seeds for the garden.  Jonah was helping by creating spreadsheets to keep track of the different plants and hannah girl was helping by eating a yogurt popcicle.  Doug and I were on one side working away when he looked at me and asked, "Did you put Hannah down for a nap?"  hmmmm....I didn't remember putting her down and I could have sworn she was just standing next to Jonah chirping away and happily eating her treat.  Doug went looking for her and this is where she was.  Sound asleep on the chair with her little face smooshed in the island and her popcicle still in hand.
