Rachel and I packed SIX children into the Tate family roadster and headed to the Wright Patterson Airforce Museum in Dayton. What a wonderful museum. Free entry, miles of open space for the kids to roam, hands on activities here and there, a cafe for lunch, astronaut ice cream and if you're lucky, you could have Luke, one of the smartest tour guides under the age of 8 tell you all about the history of each plane. It was a fun trip and a great way to spend a day!
